Attila Frontman Fronz Launches Spur Photo-Sharing App

Attila frontman Chris "Fronz" Fronzak is as known for his serious entrepreneurial pursuits and interests as he is for his band's party mosh music. In addition to his Stay Sick clothing line, which retails via Hot Topic and routinely sold out during Attila's stint on the Summer 2014 Vans Warped Tour, the singer has launched Spur, a brand-new, groundbreaking, not-like-the-others photo-sharing app that allows photos to be seen by everyone, not just followers.
While the social media app market is a saturated one, Spur is insanely unique. Here's why.
"Spur is a fun and simple photo-sharing app that easily allows you to view the most popular photos worldwide," Fronz explained. "Everyone on Spur has an equal opportunity to post popular content. I am hoping my app will encourage people to be adventurous and go on a quest to capture truly beautiful photos."
Moreover, unlike similar apps, users cannot comment on photos via Spur, but for a very specific and refreshing reason. Fronz continued, "My app does not allow you to comment on photos, thus making it a hate-free environment where people can feel comfortable in their own skin. I truly think that Spur has the potential to become the next big app."
When the app launched earlier this week, it "spurred" an instant, near-crippling reaction. The launch crashed company servers, due to the volume of interest and user demand that followed.
"Within the first 60 seconds of launching, so many people were using Spur that we crashed the servers," Fronz said. "The company that runs the servers immediately contacted us and we upgraded our server plans heftily. The upgraded servers are still struggling to handle the high volume of users on Spur, however. It's a good problem to have I suppose!"
Given the groundswell of immediate interest, Spur hopes to further attract investor attention to garner funding in order to avoid future server crashes, among other things!
With the swift reaction and the fact that it fosters a positive environment where users can post what they like without having to worry about negative comments, Spur is the photo-sharing social media app of the future.
Spur is currently the Number 1 trending search on the entire app store worldwide. It is growing rapidly, acquiring 5,000 users in less than 12 hours.
