Aquafina FlavorSplash x Austin Mahone? The water beverage enhancer and the teen pop star are teaming up. Mahone's face will front the new collection of sparkling water beverages and liquid water enhancers that launched this past October.
Why did the brand choose teen? Easy! He's their target demo and his fans are their target demo. He is the brand's direct line into teens that they want to move this product.
The launch of FlavorSplash marks the first time Aquafina is targeting teens and to help do that, the brand wanted to partner with someone that could genuinely talk and understand the teen demographic. Austin is the epitome of individuality and someone that has harnessed his self-creativity and passions to help him succeed in his career. So true!
In his role as Digital & Brand Strategist with Aquafina FlavorSplash, Austin will consult with the team on the marketing and social media approach, creative brand assets and even help in the development of the next FlavorSplash flavors and names.
"It's really cool to partner with Aquafina FlavorSplash and be a part of the creative process," the singer said. "I even get to be involved with the development of the next FlavorSplash flavors and names. I knew I could get behind a brand that celebrates creativity and individuality among teens. I'm a big supporter of expressing yourself so I knew it was a great fit."
The new line of zero-calorie sparkling water beverages and liquid water enhancers come in a variety of fun flavors such as "Color Me Kiwi" (Austin's personal favorite), "Peelin' Good" and "Berry Loco." By providing teens with a creative take on water and the opportunity to mix and match their beverages to their liking, the brand hopes to encourage and bring out teens' individuality and creativity.
