Axl Rose Uses Dave Grohl's Throne To Perform With Guns N' Roses

Axl Rose is using Dave Grohl's throne to perform on his current tour with Guns N' Roses. Rose broke his foot last week and went through surgery. He will be wearing a cast for the next four weeks. Spin reports, "the Foo Fighter frontman has loaned him the very same rock'n'roll throne he used after suffering a broken leg on tour last year. Still tricked out with its thickets of guitar necks and mandorla of stage lights, the throne appeared for last night's Guns N' Roses show at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas."
Guns N' Roses just played two shows in Las Vegas and has two more in Mexico City, Mexico before their two headlining dates at Coachella, which starts this Friday. Last week, GNR announced their massive, stadium "Not In This Lifetime" tour. After their two Coachella gigs, the official tour will begin June 23rd at Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan. GNR will play a total of 20 stadium shows over a period of two months. The concert series will take them across North America, with dates scheduled for Chicago, Philadelphia, Toronto, Atlanta, Houston, San Francisco, and many more. The tour is set to concluded August 22nd at San Diego, California's Qualcomm Stadium.
This will be the first tour in two decades to feature both Axl Rose and Slash. Slash has not played with the band since 1996. The name of the tour is a cheeky nod at the overwhelming suspicion that Guns N' Roses would never play in their original form again.
