AXS TV to Broadcast New Orleans Jazz + Heritage Festival - It takes place April 26 through May 5

Can't make it to the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, which is a few weeks away? Well, you can witness it vicariously, thanks to AXS TV.

AXS TV continues to showcase its commitment to LIVE music with a celebration of Americana music and New Orleans culture via a new partnership with the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival presented by Shell. The network will broadcast live throughout the seven-day festival from April 26 thru May 5, 2013, including live segments in its nightly program AXSLive and with continuous LIVE festival, concert and event coverage from Friday, May 3 through Sunday, May 5, 2013.

The ongoing, shared commitment to place music, artists and fans together solidified a first of its kind partnership for both AXS TV and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. Strengthening its position as the premier destination for 100% live music, news and trends, daily coverage from the festival culminating in the three-day live broadcast of Jazz Fest is a programming commitment not previously made by the network. For Jazz Fest, the AXS TV live television partnership signifies a commitment to bring their dedicated fans and music fans nationwide the highest quality LIVE broadcast available.

"AXS TV's broadcast partnership with New Orleans Jazz Fest reflects our commitment to both music and live entertainment. Week long coverage from New Orleans with 3 days of continuous live music is an experience only AXS TV will deliver," said Mark Cuban, AXS TV Chairman and Founder.

Quint Davis, producer/director of the Festival, said, "Joining forces with AXS TV will allow Jazz Fest to further our goal of placing New Orleans and Louisiana culture alongside the biggest names in music and bringing this one-of-a-kind celebration to the world. If you can't get to Jazz Fest in person, watching it live on AXS TV will definitely be the next best thing."

Additional details on the AXS TV line-up and complete festival coverage will be announced in the coming weeks.
