Azealia Banks previewed several new songs on Periscope last night. She also hinted that one unreleased track was written for Rihanna, saying "You wanna hear one of the songs I did for, what's this b****, antioxidant?" It’s a term Banks has used before when referring to Rihanna who dropped ANTI- earlier this year. She also released a soundcloud link to the track called, "Rihanna Demo Snippet."
Another track Banks revealed is set to be on Business and Pleasure, which is set to come out after her second mixtape, Fantasea II, which is set to be released later this year. Pitchfork reports, "Banks also explained that forthcoming projects, including her "The Big Big Beat" video and a wider release of Slay-Z, have been delayed because she's about to sign a new distribution deal. Asked for a timeline of future projects, she added that she'll release Fantasea II after a summer tour, with Business and Pleasure following the next fall or winter.
Banks only has two concerts scheduled at this time, including June 12th show in Sao Paulo, Brazil and a gig at SUMOL SUMMER FEST 2016 in Ericeira, Portugal. Banks last released a mixtape before Slay-Z, called Fantasea, back in 2012. Her last studio album Broke with Expensive Tastes was released in 2014 and remains her sole studio album.
