B.o.B.'s Manager Settles Bar Bill to Alleviate Controversy

Rapper B.o.B's manager to the rescue! The singer's career guider/handler personally settled a disputed bar bill after a venue owner in upstate New York accused B.o.B. of allegedly walking out without paying. Ugh!
B.o.B., born Bobby Ray Simmons, Jr., and his entourage reportedly visited Level B in Ithaca on Saturday night following a gig at Cornell University. Brad Weiss, who runs the bar at Level B, claimed the group left without settling the tab, which included three bottles of $300 Gray Goose Vodka! Yikes. That's quite a bill to stiff on.
Weiss decided not to take the matter to the authorities, but he did go to the media, which is worse, since the story traveled. Weiss told the Cornell Daily Sun that "we decided letting it go was more prudent than calling the authorities or pursuing a possibly costly legal battle."
In lieu of those statements, manager Brian Richardson, has taken care of the tab in order to prevent damage to B.o.B.'s name and reputation.
He says, "I just want to make it right by Level B, and I want the people of Cornell to know that we're a class act." That was more than enough compensation for Weiss, who said, "They were really apologetic. High marks to these guys… (They) seemed very concerned about all the bad publicity…"
Ups to B.o.B.'s camp and to Weiss for the way they handled this matter. Weiss wisely went to the press and got the mattered settled. It was probably all a big misunderstanding, too.
Have you ever stiffed an establishment on a bill? Did you feel guilty?
