Backstreet Boys will star in their own documentary, Backstreet Boys – The Movie, which is currently in production. It is slated to be released in the first quarter of 2014, to coincide with the group's 20th anniversary.

"We always wanted to make a film and now is the ideal time - with Kevin [Richardson] back, the fact that we are masters of our own destiny, a new album in the works and our 20th anniversary all adds up to being the right time to share our story," the band said. "We are excited that the team from Pulse and Stephen have joined us in what has been a energizing collaboration so far."

The film will document the bands early rise to fame, its breakup and its reunion.

Anyone plan to see the BSB movie?
