Bad Company Reunites

Having survived their one-off reunion last August, the remaining members of Bad Company (vocalist Paul Rodgers, guitarist Mick Ralphs and drummer Simon Kirke) have agreed to play a 10-gig tour together this summer. The East Coast-centric affair gets started on June 17 at the Seminole Hard Rock & Casino in Hollywood, FL, and winds down in Atlantic City on the 4th of July. The Doobie Brothers will open all dates except for the trek's final stop.
Bad Company's Hard Rock Live DVD—recorded in Florida last year—will be released August 8. "I think we really need to go out and do some dates in support of it," Rodgers told Billboard.com. "But I wanted to keep it to a minimum and keep it somewhat exclusive, too." The singer added that future Bad Company shows are unlikely because he plans on recording/writing new material the rest of the year.
