The surviving members of The Beastie Boys have released a limited-edition selection of watches that will help fund and benefit programs at the Adam Yauch Park, which was dedicated last week.
Yauch, aka MCA, died of cancer last May. A park in Brooklyn, where he learned to ride his bike as a boy, was named after him.
Adam Horovitz aka Ad-Rock and Mike Diamond aka Mike D showcased the timepieces on the band's official Facebook page on Tuesday, May 7. They sold out in 30 minutes.
The watches were $75 and were created with Nixon. They are nautically themed and feature an image of Diamond dressed in a yachting outfit on the dial and the words "I accept this award on behalf of the band" stamped on the strap.
