Beats by Dr. Dre founder and hip-hop legend Dr. Dre starred in "Good Things," a bold 30-second commercial spot for the all-new 2012 Chrysler 300, which debuted during Game 1 of the NBA finals last Tuesday night on ABC.
The commercial, directed by veteran Mark Romanek, was shot this spring in downtown Los Angeles and features close-ups of the Beats by Dre logo several times to highlight the exclusive Chrysler partnership with Beats by Dre and its unique position as the only automobile with a sound system designed to replicate the recording studio sound experience, designed by music makers Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine.
This ad highlights the partnership between Chrysler and Beats by Dr. Dre which for the first time brings the studio quality sound experience of Beats by Dr. Dre technology and places it into an automobile premium: the all-new 2012 Chrysler 300S
The Beats by Dr. Dre audio system redefined the approach to premium audio. Instead of trying to one-up its competitors with more speakers or artificial sound processing, the Beats experience was designed to replicate the visceral audio experience that the artist experiences in the recording studio.
Beats by Dr. Dre founders Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine worked side-by-side with the engineering team at Chrysler to design and tune the 10-speaker audio system; and make the Chrysler 300S to the closest you can get to a recording studio on four wheels. It's like a studio style system in your car.
Turn the ignition key and turn up the speakers.
Do you have a pair of Beats by Dre headphones? What do you think of a car stereo system that has studio-style audio quality?
