CartBen Folds Five to Release "The Sound of the Life of the Mind" on Sept. 18

It's been 13 years since they last released an album, but there is no time like the present. The reunited Ben Folds Five plan to release The Sound of the Life of the Mind on Sept. 18.
The album was recorded via a very impressive, grassroots, direct-to-fans campaign on PledgeMusic, where artists and fans can team up and work together with charities to create albums and other projects. A portion of the funds generated by album sales and other band-related items ordered by fans through PledgeMusic will be used to support Music Education and Music Therapy, a charity personally chosen by Ben Folds Five, according to FMQB.
