    Ben Harper collected his favorite ballads for a career-spanning retrospective titled By My Side, which will be released October 16 by Virgin/EMI. The collection features 12 of Harper's favorites including "Forever," "Diamonds on the Inside" and "Waiting on an Angel."

    It also features a new ballad called "Crazy Amazing," which is exclusive to this release. A rare studio version of "Not Fire Not Ice," previously unreleased in the U.S., will be included. Before, it was only available on the international single for "Ground On Down." Now you, too, can have it. We love when rarities rear their heads like this.
