The beautiful and multi-talented Beyoncé has been invited to join the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Bey's acting career consists of turns as singers in Dreamgirls and Cadillac Records; in the latter, she played Etta James. That's not exactly a stretch from her real life, but still. She also starred in Obsessed with Ali Larter.

Congrats to Beyonce, whose new album 4 is due out June 28th, on the invitation.

Have you enjoyed Beyonce's acting career? Do you prefer her as a singer or do you think she should act even more.
