Beyoncé's Lawsuit With Video Game Company Moves Forward

The case (as opposed to the show) will go on for a lawsuit that has been thrown at mom-to-be Beyoncé.
Earlier this year, Beyoncé was sued by bosses at video game company Gate Five, alleging that the fact that she abruptly pulled out of her participation in a game designed for her caused 70 staffers to be forced out of work. Yikes. That is no fun, for her or for them!
Gate Five owners claim they were preparing to release a game called Starpower: Beyoncé, but the deal collapsed when Bey walked away from the project, leaving them and a batch of employees high and dry, like the Radiohead song.
Earlier this week, lawyers for the singer applied to have the case thrown out at Manhattan Supreme Court in New York, but judge Charles Ramos wasn't hearing any of it. He rejected the request and ruled Gate Five can move forward with the suit.
