Yesterday, Coachella announced the lineup for their 2017 festival. Taking place over two weekends — April 14th through 16th and April 21st through 23rd — this year's concert series will be headlined by Beyoncé, Radiohead, and Kendrick Lamar. Also appearing on the bill will be Lorde, New Order, Future, Travis Scott, Justice, the XX, Bon Iver, Schoolboy Q, Gucci Mane, Empire of the Sun, Father John Misty, Dillon Francis, Kaytranada, and many more.
Radiohead will headline on both Fridays, Beyonce will take top billing on each Saturday, and Kendrick Lamar will close out each of the three day festivals. Rumors of the three headliners first appeared in late November, but festival organizers did not confirm them until yesterday.
This will be the third time Radiohead has headlined the desert festival. Meanwhile, it will be the first time Beyonce has officially appeared on the bill — she made surprise appearances in 2010 and 2014 — and the second time Kendrick will perform at the Indio concert series. This will be the first time either has appeared has headliners.
In related news, and somewhat reassuring news, it was announced today that Bon Iver cancelled their upcoming European tour, but are still scheduled to play at Coachella 2017.
The festival will take place at the Empire Polo Club in Indio California. Tickets go on sale today, January 4th, at 2 pm ET/11 am PT. Get tickets on Coachella's official website.
