Big Sean, born Sean Anderson, accepted a plea deal in his misdemeanor count of unlawful imprisonment case, which comes with a $750 fine attached to it. The third degree sex abuse and forcible touching charges were dropped. Whew. Sounds like he got off easier than expected!
"I am pleased to announce that after further investigation the Niagra County District Attorney's Office decided not to pursue any of the sexual misconduct allegations against Mr. Anderson," Big Sean's lawyer Scott Leemon told XXLmag.com.
"As a result in order to get this entire ordeal behind him Mr. Anderson agreed to plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of unlawful imprisonment with a $750 fine," Leemon also said. "Mr. Anderson regrets any misunderstandings that occurred that day and reiterates he did not engage in any type of sexual misconduct."
Big Sean was accused of sexual assault in Aug. 2011 during a Buffalo concert. A 17-year-old girl claimed Big Sean and Willie Antonio "Sayitainttone" Hansbro assaulted her. Hansbro took the same plea deal as Big Sean.
