A good concert x a good cause? We love it!

Metro PCS and X102.9 Presents The Big Ticket Festival, fueled by Monster Energy, featuring Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington, Thirty Seconds to Mars, A Day to Remember, Jimmy Eat World and more at the Metropolitan Park in Jacksonville, Florida on December 8, has announced participation in "Food Drive Fridays."

What's that? We're glad you asked.

MetroPCS, X102.9 Jacksonville's Rock Alternative, Danny Wimmer Presents and Second Harvest are pleased to support an initiative of such critical importance, which helps to feed people in need and those less fortunate residing in the North Florida region by partnering with Second Harvest.

Beginning this Friday, October 18 and running every Friday through December 6, X1029 Jacksonville's New Rock Alternative, MetroPCS, Danny Wimmer Presents and Second Harvest are sponsoring "Food Drive Fridays" at the select MetroPCS locations.

Fans are encouraged to bring non-perishable food items to the listed MetroPCS locations to help those in need during this holiday season. While doing so, special no service fee ticket discounts, ticket 4-packs for $120 and 2-packs for $60 will be available for purchase.

You bring food for someone in need and you get a discount. It's that easy!
