A billboard teasing a future Drake and Kanye West collaboration has appeared in Los Angeles. It reads, "Calabasas is the new Abu Dhabi," referring to the wealthy city in Los Angeles County, California where both artists reside.
A few weeks back, Kanye appeared at Drake's OVO Fest in Toronto and announced the forthcoming record, asking the crowd, "Toronto, I got one question for you ... Is you all ready for this album?" Then revealing, "I'm not talking about Pablo. I'm not talking about Views. I want to ask y'all, y'all ready for this album?"
Drake was busy with billboards earlier in the week as well. He purchased one for Rihanna, congratulating her on her MTV VMAs Video Vanguard Award. Earlier this year, before dropping VIEWS, he began teasing the album with mysterious billboards.
Drake is currently on his Summer Sixteen tour with Future. He next plays in New Orleans on September 2nd, followed by stops in Houston, Los Angeles, Las Vegas, and many others. The Summer Sixteen concert series comes to an end of October 16th in Newark, New Jersey.
Kanye West's Saint Pablo Tour just started and he'll be playing in Toronto on August 30th and 31st. Drake doesn't have any performances scheduled those two days… we're just sayin'. After that, he will head out across North America making stops in many major destinations, including Montreal, New York City, Chicago, and Las Vegas. His tour is set to come to an end on November 1st in Los Angeles, California.
