Björk's Throat Surgery is a Success

Björk's surgery to remove a polyp from her vocal cords was successful! Woot woot.
Björk had to cancel shows in South America in April of this year after doctors discovered the nodule, and then she had to cancel more gigs in order to rest her voice and not cause further damage.
She agreed to an operation since it used advanced medical technology.
The Icelandic chanteuse is ready to resume touring again in 2013.
She posted an update on her website, writing the (unedited by us) text below:
few years ago doctors found a vocal polyp on me chords (sic)… i decided to go the natural way and for 4 years did (vocal) stretches and tackled it with different foods and what not. then they discovered better technology and i got tempted into hi tech lazer (sic) stuff and i have to say, in my case anyway: surgery rocks! i stayed quiet for 3 weeks and then started singing and definitely feel like my chords are as good as pre nodule! it’s been very satisfying to sing all them (sic) clear notes again. im sorry i had to cancel stuff earlier in the year, didnt want to talk about this until i knew for sure if it would work (sic). so looking forward to singing for you in 2013."
Get better soon, Björk.
