CartBlink-182 Working on New Music

Bassist Mark Hoppus says that blink-182 have begun writing their new record, which follows last years' Neighborhoods. That album came out seven years after it's self-titled predecessor so perhaps there is a creative boon for Blink right now.
"Early next week I go back to Los Angeles to record an iTunes session for Blink-182, and we're starting to write the new record right now," Hoppus told NME.com.
The new album probably won't drop for at least a year, though.
Are you excited for a new Blink-182 album hot on the heels of the last Blink-182 album, relatively speaking, since there was such a delay in between releases?
