Bob Dylan Debuts "Melancholy Mood," Details New Album

Bob Dylan debuted the first song, "Melancholy Mood," off his upcoming album, Fallen Angels, which is due out May 20th. On his last record, 2015's Shadows in the Dark, Dylan made his own versions of Frank Sinatra classics. On Fallen Angels, Dylan is once again looking back at Frank for inspiration.
On the record, Dylan is covering classics such as "Young at Heart," "On a Little Street In Singapore," "It Had to Be You," and "Polka Dots And Moonbeams." There will be a total of 12 tracks on the record. Check out the tracklist below:

Today, Dylan debuted "Melancholy Mood," which was the B-side to Frank Sinatra's first ever single, "From the Bottom of My Heart." Written by Vick R. Knight, Sr., Sinatra performed the song alongside Henry James and his orchestra. "Melancholy Mood" was released back in 1939.
Bob Dylan is currently on tour in Japan through April 28th. Mavis Staples will accompany Dylan's tour as it travels throughout North America beginning June 4th in Woodinville, Washington. The concert series will make stops in Philadelphia, Los Angeles, Kansas City, Boston, and many more, before coming to an end July 17th in Gilford, New Hampshire.
