In our exclusive interview, R&B singer Bobby V., who is destined to become a household name in 2011, talks about a myriad of topics related to his new album. He says he is done with simple party songs and that he wants people to know who he is on his new album, Fly on the Wall. Mr. V.'s voice is smooth like butter on new songs like "Words" and "Phone Number."
The uber-stylish Bobby V. breaks down "Words," and says it's about how he meets a lot of women in his position as a public figure and how he has come to the conclusion that words don't mean a thing and that it's about actions when it comes to relationships.
"Phone Number" is his upbeat, sexy jam with Plies, which could evolve into the "feel good" hit of 2011. You can hear it throughout our interview.
Bobby compares Fly on the Wall to the film The Five Heartbeats, but he also says that he feels like a new artist, since he hasn't broken through like he should have yet. Maybe 2011 will be the year of the V! I think it's incredibly possible.
