Bon Jovi Share Their Tour Rituals

Bon Jovi are currently on the road in support of What About Now. The New Jersey rock icons will be performing in nearly 100 shows on four continents. They have been doing this for decades -since they've seen a million faces and rocked 'em all. But they still have pre-show rituals and routines, according to singer Jon Bon Jovi and guitarist Richie Sambora.
"There are certain patterns that you follow when you get to an arena from a sound check to if you eat or you choose not to eat or when you decide to warm up, what time you get dressed. It's not even superstition, it's just more of a ritual, you don't do it too early, you can't do it too late, you fall into that," JBJ said.
Sambora concurred, "It's almost like a routine. It's actually just trying to stay healthy to be out there so you can give the fans the best show and you can also feel comfortable that you're going to be able to hit the high note, you're going to be able to give 100 percent out there and just staying healthy, that's the real, primary concern."
