Bonny Doon Pick Music Memories

Detroit band Bonny Doon are one of those bands that are deceptively simple, but whose ability to layer easy sounds together to build a tapestry of genuine substance is quietly incredible. Their self-titled debut album is a rare treat of fresh, but somehow familiar, sounds that borrows from masters like Neil Young, yet delivers an unequalled sense of time and place.

ARTISTdirect caught up with Bill of Bonny Doon to discuss his musical memories and take a quick listen through the sounds that shaped his songwriting sensibilities.
