CartBono Says U2 Enjoying Best Studio Sessions Since 1979

Bono appeared on the Irish show The Late Late Show, to say there is no sense of entitlement among the band members and that they have had had the "best three weeks in the studio since 1979." Wow, that's a big assertion, since U2 have made some pretty game changing albums since 1979.
He also said, "I think they [the other band members] are very aware that U2 have to do something very special to have a reason to exist right now."
So it's do or die time for the band and they must release something powerful. That only means good things for the fans, right?
