Brad Paisley's massively successful "H2O" World Tour has been christened with a new name and will continue through the first quarter of 2011 as the "H2O Frozen Over" Tour. H2O frozen over? Well, that is ice, my friends. Brrrrrrr! Hootie and the Blowfish singer and unlikely country star Darius Rucker will continue as special guest and Jerrod Niemann will join the tour. The tour kicks off in the often frigid tundra of Green Bay, Wisconsin on January 20.
The "H2O" Tour began the end of May and in less than five months has played to over 750,000 fans including 70,000 at AquaPalooza, 51,000 at Gillette Stadium and 35,000 at Gulf Shores for "Concerts for the Gulf." Translation? Paisley knows how to put asses in seats.
