    Brad Pitt Going Greek Again

Brad Pitt is going Greek again. The actor will produce and possibly star in a big screen adaptation of the classic Greek masterwork The Odyssey. Pitt dabbled in Greek mythology when he starred as Achilles in the 2004 blockbuster Troy.

Warner Brothers hopes that Pitt will star in the film, which will be produced by his company, Plan B. The filmmakers are also hoping to change the epic poem quite a bit, moving the setting from Greece to outer space. The Odyssey is the tale of Odysseus, the Greek hero who embarks on an arduous journey back to his homeland after he turns down deification.

In other Pitt news, he is attached to star in Columbia's Moneyball: The Art of Winning an Unfair Game, the film adaptation of the 2003 nonfiction best-selling book written by Michael Lewis. The book is about Oakland A's general manager Billy Beane, who put together a championship contending baseball team on a small budget by using a computer-based drafting system. American Gangster screenwriter Steve Zaillian will adapt the book into a screenplay.
