CartBret Michaels + Fiancée End Engagement

Poison frontman Bret Michaels has called off his engagement to fiancée Kristi Gibson, his longtime girlfriend and the mother of his two daughters. Michaels and Gibson were together for 16 long years.
The singer/guitarist, 49, asked Gibson to be his wife in December of 2010 on the finale of his VH1 reality show Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It.
His rep stated: "Although the couple have separated, they remain great friends and are committed to jointly raising their two daughters, Raine and Jorja." Maybe the romance went out of the relationship? Perhaps. Whatever the case, we're glad it's amicable.
Best of luck to Michaels and Gibson as they part ways.
