CartBret Michaels to Give Speech at Medical Conference in May

Poison frontman and guitarist Bret Michaels will share his experiences in the health care field for non-profit group Diversity Alliance for Science, Inc. He will deliver the keynote speech at a conference to be held in Newark, NJ on May 22.
Michaels, who suffered a brain hemorrhage, a stroke, an emergency appendectomy and was diagnosed with a hole in the heart in the matter of a few weeks in 2010, now serves as the spokesperson for National Diabetes Month and is an active supporter of many health organizations, making him an appropriate choice for that speech giving. He certainly has the experience with the medical field.
