Yesterday, Britney Spears announced via Twitter she will be releasing her new album, Glory, on April 26th via Apple Music. You can now pre-order the record and receive an immediate download of "Private Show." The only other detail released about the LP at this time is that it will also include "Make Me" featuring G-Eazy.
Britney told V about Glory back in March saying, "It's the best thing I've done in a long time. I'm proud of the work, and it's very different; it's not what you would think at all." Meanwhile G-Eazy told Rolling Stone about how the collaboration on "Make Me" came about, "I was actually on tour in Australia. After the first leg in the U.S. and we got that email that was like, "Britney Spears wants to do a song." I didn't know if it was gonna be the single or what. It was just a no-brainer. I think we were in Melbourne, and I was like, "Yo, let's see if there are any studios open here." And literally after the show we went and cut it on the spot. That kind of thing you just drop whatever you're doing to do."
Spears last released Britney Jean back in 2013. The album reached #4 on the Billboard 200, but received mixed reviews. Britney is still on residency at The Axis at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas three nights a week.
