CartBritney Spears "Hard at Work" and "Focused" on New Music

While rumors abound that Britney Spears may not return to serve as a mentor on the third season of X Factor since she was paid a shit ton of money to do little more than make crinkled nose faces and tell contestants that they were "amazing," the singer did answer some fan questions on Twitter on December 30, telling her followers that she is a "hard at work" on her new album.
The diva also said that she is "focused" on new music, which might be a thinly-veiled reference to her shift in career gears from X to her next album.
Brit's next album will be her eighth.
