CartBritney Spears + Jason Trawick End Engagement

Change is afoot for Britney Spears. The pop star has ended her engagement with fiancé Jason Trawick, who was once her agent and whom she had been in a relationship with since 2009. She also announced that she will not return for a second season of X Factor, either.
Her rep issued this statement:
"Britney Spears and Jason Trawick have mutually agreed to end their one-year engagement. As two mature adults, they came to the difficult decision to go their separate ways while continuing to remain friends."
Brit said, "Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement. I'll always adore him and we will remain great friend," while Trawick stated, "As this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever."
Trawick is no longer Spears' co-conservator responsible for her affairs and finances. That responsibility has legally and solely reverted back to her father, Jamie.
As for X Factor, Brit Brit said she wants to focus on her own tunes and performing.
