Music Videos poured out of the woodwork over the last seven days, tackling a variety of issues of modern day society. So often videos fall into the trap of trying to create something shiny for the music they accompany, but that wasn't the case this week. Ariana Grande teamed up with the hardest working man of 2017, Future, for "Everyday" from her 2016 album Dangerous Woman, where everyone is everybody getting some, no matter who they are.

Producer-director duo The Blaze unveiled the beautiful "Territory", which opens viewers eyes to life inside the white buildings of Algiers. Bruno Mars got animated in "That's What I Like" creating new and less tangible versions of the opulent life he sings about. Meanwhile, Sylvan Esso took on the conversation of changing one's path for love in a desert-set video that will immediately remind viewers of Hollywood classic. And that was only the beginning for a week filled with stunning music videos.

    Here are our favorites:

    Sylvan Esso — "Die Young"

Sylvan Esso unveiled that their sophomore album What Now would be dropping April 28th via Loma Vista. Along with the announcement came the third song we've heard off the record "Die Young", and it's accompanying music video. In it, singer Amelia Meath steals a cop car and jumps off a cliff deep in the desert. What could symbolize the changing of one's plans for love better?

    The Blaze — "Territory"

Algiers, the capital of Algeria, can seem a world away from ours. But those who wish to take in it's beauty without travelling the distance, need look no further than "Territory". Producer-director tandem The Blaze open the doors of the white city to viewers taking them inside the walls and lives of individuals that all too often seem distant from us.

Ariana Grande — "Everyday" [ft. Future]

Young, old, black, white, gay, straight, it doesn't matter in Ariana Grande's video for "Everyday" featuring Future... everyone is getting some action. It's a lovely message of free love and spirit to send out in a video that manages to be as much fun as it is thoughtful.

    Young Thug — "Safe"

Too often the insecurity and paranoia of success goes undiscussed. In the video for "Safe", Young Thug counts foreign money and dons designer duds in an all-white building with no one else around. Despite all the accolades and cash, it may be more lonely atop that ivory pedestal than many might think.

    Bruno Mars — "That's What I Like"

Jonathan Lia and Bruno Mars directed the video for "That's What I Like", and the results are as bold as anything we've seen from the artist in the past. Bruno isn't out with his normal crew this time, instead support come from sharply-drawn line animations that float around as he dances. Mars is accompanied by all the trappings of wealth and success that we associate with the man — Champagne glasses, Cadillac wheels, Paris landmarks, diamonds — but they're drawn in as animation too. The video is set on 'dance' and 'good times' and he makes a compelling point to get up on your feet.
