One thing you'll know about Calvin Harris is that he loves to collaborate. His influence on tracks can make simple singles become golden dance-floor fillers. Fully aware of the alchemy he can produce when working with other names from dance and pop the list of guests lined up on his upcoming album reads like a 'who's who' of the genre.

Back in February the producer/DJ took to his social media to tease fans with news of a Frank Ocean and Migos collaboration. We've now heard that track called "Slide", along with the tune "Heatstroke", which was recorded with Young Thug, Ariana Grande and Pharrell Williams. He has now added weight, with a whole list of names who will be featured on his new collection, Funk Wav Bounces Vol. 1.

John Legend, Khalid, Snoop Dogg, Katy Perry, Schoolboy Q, Big Sean, Lil Yachty, PARTYNEXTDOOR and Travis Scott are all credited with collaborations across the assembled tracks.

It seems like the follow-up to 2014's Motion is focused entirely on producing hits whilst unifying a community of artists, and their fan bases who are sure to join the congregation.

With a release date of June 30th fans don't have too long to wait to check out the full scope of Harris' vision. Not since the Gorillaz announced their new album has a role call of such contrasting and complimentary artists been gathered together for one project. It seems like 2017 is the year of communal living.
