Calvin Harris Turned Down Chance to Work With Lady Gaga

Singer, songwriter and producer Calvin Harris, who is one of the hottest DJs around and who shot to fame on the back of his singles with Rihanna ("We Found Love") and with Ne-Yo ("Let's Go"), revealed that he turned down the chance to work with Lady Gaga! Whoa! What? She's the biggest star in pop music, so why did he say, "Thanks, but no thanks?"
Well, for one, he was busy. And secondly, he "didn't really like the songs," according to the BBC. He also said that he was offered the chance to work with her before she was huge, and that he wasn't sent the hits to work on. So he turned it down, saying that he was a busy rascal at the time and that he needed to work with people whose songs and voices he likes.
Gaga responded via tweet, posting: "never even emailed you calvinharris I guess it's hard to believe I write + produce my music. cuz I'm a woman I don't know about EDM right." Ouch.
They then both apologized to each other over Twitter. It was a big to-do about nada.
Was this a "missed connection" between Gaga and Calvin Harris? Could they have made beautiful music together?
