Cameron Crowe Returns to Film

Acclaimed (and famously picky about his projects) director Cameron Crowe is returning to movies for the first time since 2005's Elizabethtown. He will direct We Bought A Zoo, which is a big-screen adaptation of Benjamin Mee's memoir. He is reworking the script, as well.
The story centers on the true story of how Mee and his family took their life savings and bought a dilapidated zoo in the English countryside. The zoo was on the verge of total collapse, even though it housed 200 exotic animals. Mee and his kids also had the task of caring for his ailing wife and their mother, who was dying of brain cancer at the time. The family raised endangered animals and worked with a small crew in order to prep the zoo for re-opening to the public.
The film already has a December 23, 2011 release date attached. Now that's what I call planning ahead.
Who do you think should play Benjamin Mee?
