For the next few weeks, ARTISTdirect.com will unveil a new song from Carolina Liar's Wild Blessed Freedom twice per week. This week, we start with "Miss America," an escalating up-tempo rocker that the band says was inspired "by all of us touring together the first few times around the US, seeing America through all the guys in the band." Indeed, it's a song influenced by a panoramic view of America, from the peepers of dudes in a van, taking it all in while spreading the word about their music. There's no influence that's more organic or authentic.

The band also noted that touring allowed them to develop "a new perspective on the country" and reminded them about the things they were taking for granted, such as "what makes the country cool." Wild Blessed Freedom, which is something that is distinctly American, is out September 27th via the bands own Liar Records.
