Carolina Liar Reveal the Meaning Behind "Me and You"

Every week, ARTISTdirect.com is premiering not one, but two song clips from Carolina Liar's Wild Blessed Freedom album. We have been unveiling video clips of the band detailing the meaning behind each song on Mondays and Fridays, because it's a rockin' way to bookend a work week. Today, we get to the bottom of the deep-rooted meaning behind Carolina Liar's 'Me and You.' It's about a not-so-simple, real-life situation, which took on a life of its own in a song. We love it when that happens.
According to the band, the song is about the experience of meeting an incredible woman, all the while knowing she is with somebody at the time, but you are still left hoping and wondering "how do you make this thing work?" We've all been through it. (And it sucks when you are the "other" person in that scenario.)
The fact that a real situation informed the song makes it that much more immediate and easy to relate to.
The rest of the clip features video footage of the band performing.
