Carrie Underwood Says She Is in Favor of "Acceptance" With Gay Marriage

Last summer, Carrie Underwood caused a stir as a Christian who showed her support of gay marriage. She said, "As a married person myself, I don't know what it's like to be told I can't marry somebody I love." In her February cover story for Allure, she further commented on marriage equality.
The country supserstar said, "I'm in favor of acceptance. And I am a Christian person, and I do love the Lord, and I feel no matter who you are, what you believe, how you live your life, it's not my place to judge. I don't have that power. I don't want that power. It's my place to love and to show God's love to other people, even if they don't live a life like I live. So that's where I'm coming from."
What a beautifully open-minded position for a Christian to have. It's very Christ-like! More people should be open-minded like Carrie Underwood. This commentary made us love her more.
What do you think of Carrie Underwood's viewpoints and perspectives on marriage equality?
