Cate Blanchett Heads to the Hood

Celebrated thespian Cate Blanchett will star opposite Russell Crowe in the forthcoming reimagining of the Robin Hood story, Nottingham. Blanchett steps into the role of Maid Marian, which was vacated by Sienna Miller late last year.

The film's title will eventually be changed, while director Ridley Scott is aiming for a PG-13 rating on the film. The film will adhere to historical facts and events of the time period. It was originally indicated that Crowe would play the Sheriff of Nottingham, but it now appears that he will be portraying Robin Hood.
