CGI Arnold Schwarzenegger to Appear in Terminator Salvation

Arnold Schwarzenegger will be back. The current governor of California, affectionately dubbed 'The Governator,' will indeed appear in Terminator Salvation. Schwarzenegger, who appeared in all three previous films in the newly rebooted franchise, had hinted several times that he would make an appearance in the film, but it's been confirmed that he will appear digitally in the film.

A body-cast mold of the former actor was made when he first appeared in the films and that served as the basis for a digitally recreated version of his character, a killing machine from the future. The iconic character will appear in the blockbuster-to-be as a normal, living, breathing person. Schwarzenegger viewed the footage and gave his approval as director McG is making final cuts to the film, which opens May 21.
