Check Out Kurt Vile, Saint Motel + Delta Spirit in Converse Rubber Tracks Series

Converse Rubber Tracks has premiered four new exclusive short-films featuring acclaimed musician Kurt Vile in a special "Oh Hello"; indie-pop rockers from Los Angeles, Saint Motel in "Oh Hello" and "Track of the Week"; and San Diego-based the Delta Spirit in "Ready, Set."
Kurt Vile is an American singer-songwriter who's critically acclaimed fourth full-length album "Smoke Ring for My Halo" was released in 2011. In "Oh, Hello," he shares his early beginnings picking up instruments as early as the fourth grade and progressing musically to learning the guitar and becoming the musician he is today.
Saint Motel are an LA-based foursome who have shared the stage with with notable well-known acts including Best Coast, Girl Talk, Common and The Morning Benders among others. In "Oh Hello," the band discusses how they came together in a California film school basement, the "divine intervention" that led to their name and the game plan for recording a brand new song at Converse Rubber Tracks Studio.
This week's "Track of the Week" also features the single "1997" by Saint Motel which they fine tuned at Converse Rubber Tracks and is featured here.
Lastly, The Delta Spirit have been together since 2005 and recorded three albums to date and for this weeks "Ready, Set" they perform the track "California", the first single off their latest self-titled release. The band toured with big name acts such as Dr. Dog, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and Cold War Kids to name a few and will be hitting the road through the summer, playing venues across the US and at the High Sierra Music Festival and Bonnaroo.
