CartCheck Out Sony Mobile Metric Video for "Synthetica"

Check out the result of a recent collaboration between Sony Mobile and Sony/RED distributed music artist Metric. For the title track "Synthetica" from the band's latest album, Metric performed a rare, acoustic performance of the song live at the Hotel on Rivington Penthouse in NYC. But what's so special about it?
Well, a few things! Audience members were given Sony Xperia ions – Sony's first 4G, LTE smartphone – and encouraged to unleash their creativity as they filmed the live set.
Now that's what we call wholly interactive and fan appreciation!
The video, directed by Chris Lenox Smith, known for his work with artists Passion Pit, TV on the Radio and My Morning Jacket, the footage has come together as a one-of-a-kind music experience.
