    Cher, who got famous on the back of her variety show with former husband Sonny Bono in the 1970s, will mark her return to TV. The diva, an icon of the gay community, has signed a development deal with cable channel Logo.

    The channel caters to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) audience so this is a perfect fit.

    Her son Chaz, born Chastity, is transgendered.

    Cher is currently working on a top secret project for the network. It is not known if Cher will star in the show she is working on.
