Chris Brown's rep has dismissed reports suggesting the troubled superstar axed a concert in Guyana amid fears of protests from women’s rights groups. These groups tend to target him and his shows to this day, due to his 2009 beating of then-girlfriend Rihanna.
Breezy was slated to headline a post-Christmas show in the South American country. It was set for December 26, but promoters at Hits & Jams Entertainment told the press that Brown had pulled out of the gig after facing criticism from activists and opposition lawmakers due to the RiRi incident.
His PR rep said his conviction had nothing to do with the cancellation, telling Eonline.com, "This concert was never confirmed. The promoter is being untruthful." Drama, drama, drama.
And through it all, it appears that Brown and Rihanna are back together.
