CineChart: Relive 1987 With Adventureland

Director Greg Mottola’s follow up to 2007’s mega success Superbad is Adventureland, is a nostalgic romp through 1987, when its protagonist, James Brennan (Jesse Eisenberg), is sifting through the ruins of post-collegiate life whilst employed at an amusement park. He contends with annoying coworkers and various carnival-esque caricatures, all set against a kitschy ‘80s backdrop.
