We look back on some of Renée Zellweger's career highs

    CineChart: Renée Zellweger Retrospective

Renée Zellweger is no stranger to romantic comedies, having charmed a veritable army of leading men onscreen, from Hugh Grant in Bridget Jones’s Diary to Ewan McGregor in Down With Love. Zellweger returns to the genre with New In Town (opening Friday, January 30th), alternately donning stilettos and snow boots to play uppity Miami businesswoman Lucy Hill. Lucy is sent to the icy environs of Minnesota, where she must restructure a failing manufacturing plant her company owns in a Podunk town. It’s there that she meets Ted Mitchell (Harry Connick Jr.), the plant’s union leader and a formidable opponent for her shrewd character. The duo’s combative dynamic quickly turns flirty, but the possibility of romance is impeded by Lucy’s split loyalties. Does she work to protect corporate interests or those of the townsfolk she finds herself slowly growing attached to?

Before checking out New In Town this Friday, try renting one or more of Zellweger’s career highlights, 10 of which we’ve listed below.
