CineChart: The Duplass Brothers' Horror Favorites

On the set of The Puffy Chair, Mark and Jay Duplass' successful indie feature from 2005, a crew member posed the following question: "What's the scariest thing you can think of?" The answer that someone supplied—"A man with a bag over his head staring into your window"—ultimately became the terrifying yet comical antagonist in their latest film, Baghead. Following the exploits of four struggling actors as they attempt to write the next festival hit in a cabin one weekend, the movie blends humor, relationship drama, and horror undertones into an endearing whole. Baghead belongs not to one genre, but many, so it is fitting that the Duplass Brothers supplied us with a helter-skelter selection of the "10 Films That Horrified Them Most."
