CMJ Festival Announces More Bands
The annual CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival is just a few weeks away, and slowly but somewhat surely, the organizers are releasing a list of the bands participating in this year's incarnation. The weekend event takes place in select venues all throughout New York City from October 16-20 and features up-and-coming bands who hope to be discovered by press and industry alike.Well established bands will also be part of the marathon, including M.I.A., Spoon and British Sea Power in attendance, with acts brimming with potential stardom like the guitar-wielding, jazz-influenced solo pixie St. Vincent also in tow.
