Coldplay will be taking a minute – actually, several million minutes- off from the live realm, after a year-and-a-half of touring and promotion behind last year's Mylo Xyloto. According to Billboard, singer and Gwyneth Paltrow's hubby Chris Martin told a crowd in Brisbane that "This is the last big show for three years or so. I don't want to stop."

Okay, he doesn’t want to stop, but they are! Coldplay actually have a trio of shows scheduled in the East Coast portion of the country around New Year's.

Absence will make the heart grow fonder, for sure.

Will you miss Coldplay while they take a minute off from touring?
